Object of Game
The goal is for your team of riders to score more fantasy points than any other team, during the Tour de France.
Fantasy points are awarded for the performance of each rider in your team for each stage, according to the points
award table. Points won for each stage are added together to determine the total Tour de France points. There are
no overall or General Classification points in the game.
Registration
In order to play our free Fantasy-Cycling-Game, you must first register under "Anmeldung". Choose a user name
and enter all other required data. If the user name is already assigned, you will get an error message and must
choose another name. Registration for the game is possible at any time during the Tour de France.
Teams
Each player may have up to 3 teams entered, but can play with less. Each team operates independently. Give
each team a name. Once named, no name changes can be made. Click "Teams" button and "Neu" at the top of the
left block.
Teams may be either "dynamic" or "fixed". In "dynamic" teams rider transfers are permitted (certain limits
apply). In "fixed" teams no rider transfer activity is allowed.
Starting Budget
Each team has a player purchase budget; "dynamic" teams have a budget of € 5
million, but budget supplements are provided for points won by the team after each stage at the rate
of € 3000 per point; "fixed" teams have a budget of € 7.5
million. Riders are assigned purchase prices, as provided below. Click on the rider's name to select him on your team.
Delete a team
Registered teams cannot be deleted.
Size of the teams / Count of riders
Each team may acquire up to a maximum of 9 riders, but may have less.
Riders
Riders are assigned purchase prices before the start of the Tour de France, and do not change for the
remainder of the race. Prices are based on recent performance & the judgment of the fantasy game
commissioner.
Riders only score points for the team if they are on the team for the stage(s) when their points are awarded.
If you acquire a rider mid tour, you do not get any points won by that rider before you acquired
him.
Transfers
Before the start of your 1st stage, you may change your teams without penalty or limits on exchange.
Transfers of riders may be made up until the exact time of start of the next stage ("Etappen").
A transfer after this time is valid for the stage on the next day.
A rider may be removed from your team, with a credit of 80% of the original purchase price credited to your team budget. Click on the name
of the rider you wish to remove. A rider may be added to you team (click on his name) if you have:
- a transfer credit remaining
- "room" on your team (less than 9 riders) and
- you have enough budget left to make the purchase.
It takes 2 transfers to exchange a rider for another rider. After stage one, you are given 8 transfers to
use as you wish. After each stage thereafter, if you have less than 2 transfers remaining (either 0 or 1
left), then you are upgraded to 2 transfers, so you will have the ability to make an exchange on each
stage.
If you have 2 or more free transfers for your team you get 1 additional transfer per day.
You may purchase 2 additional transfers per stage for € 0.25 million each. However, they must be used before the
next stage (no carryovers). Use the link "Transfer kaufen" below your rider list of the team you wish to have
added a transfer credit.
Undo-Function
With the Undo-function "Letzte Aktion zurück" in the window "Meine Teams" under the menu option "Teams" can be cancelled the last action
without loss of a money. This actions are: buy a rider, sell a rider and transfer purchase.
